Commissions & Activity Units |

Our Commissions
and Activity Units provide a vital role for and on behalf
of ACEA and the Black Majority Churches (BMCs). They bring
together experts and practitioners in particular fields
to represent the perspectives of a wide spectrum of BMCs.
These Commissions and Activity Units are designed to be
the ‘think-tanks’, provide common consensus
on contemporary issues and help to provide a coherent
response on behalf of BMCs.
As ACEA expert witnesses our Commission and Activity Units
inform our priorities, our responses in the press and
media and more significantly a large pool of volunteers
who are able to contribute to consultations, represent
ACEA either as conference speakers or representatives.
We have three commissions namely Children and Youth Commission
(CandY), Church and Pastoral Affairs Commission and Social
Responsibility Commission, under which all Activity Units
function. Each has their own life and dynamism. ACEA will
be reviewing each of them within the next 12 months.
