Criminal Records Check

Applying for Disclosure
ACEA is encouraging churches and Christian organisations to carry out Criminal Record Checks on those who work with young children and vulnerable adults to safeguard their welfare.

Since Victoria Climbie this procedure has become all the more important and so to facilitate this process for individuals, churches and organisations ACEA has become a Registered Umbrella Body to countersign applications and verify the authenticity of submitted documents.

Why use ACEA?
To remove the added administrative burden from your organisation
If your organisation cannot afford the Registered Body fees of £300
If your organisation does not qualify or is not a Registered Body

How much does it cost?

For Enhanced Disclosure - £29 rising to 33 from 1 April 2004
