Meet the Executive Board and Trustees

The trustees are the ACEA are responsible for the overall management of the Charity. Their role is fulfilled through an Executive Board which comprises of the trustees and co-opted members. The Board meets bi-monthly and delegates the day to day management responsibilities to its Chief Executive Officer.

An open recruitment and nominations process resulted in the following being elected as members of the Executive Board in November 2002.


Modupe Afolabi

Modupe is the Deputy Administrator for the Redeemed Church of God (RCCG) Central office. She is involved in running a busy office, and very much enjoys helping the parish pastors to be more effective in their work . Modupe is married and has two children. She contributes to the legal and governance issues on the ACEA Board.

Beverley Ejimofo

Beverley is the Chair of the Community Projects Group which is responsible for training and development, strategies and fundraising. She recently worked fint he public sector, co-ordinating an event called "having Faith in Lewisham" She is a senior leader at Micah ministries in New Cross and is a wife and mother of three girls. Her contribution to the Board is in HR Management and Strategic Planning.

Ken Fuller

Ken contributes to Christian Aid work as Area Co-ordinator for Black Majority Churches in London. He is married with three children, a girl and twin boys and pastors the Church of God of Prophecy Shalom Centre in Abbey Wood. He enjoys reading, writing and sporting events. His contribution to the Board is in the area of Finance and Fundraising.

Olu Ojedokun

Born in South London and brought up in Nigeria, Olu now lives in Nottingham with his wife and two daughters. He serves as the Field Director of Friends International Ministries for the Central and Northern England Regions. He serves on the Board of the Evangelical Alliance and has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree. He is passionate about cross-cultural evangelism and missions and contributes articles to various publications. He attends Oasis Christian Centre in Beeston,Nottingham. His contribution to the Board is on legal and governance related issues.

Pedro Okoro
Pedro is the senior pastor of the New Covenant Church in Wallington, Surrey. He is also a solicitor and is the senior partner of Pedro Emmanuel Solicitors, a general legal practice based in Sutton in Surrey. He is married with two daughters. Pedro is the Chair of ACEA's Board of Executive Trustees.

Jonathan Oloyede

Jonathan is a Senior Associate Pastor at Glory House, in East London.  A medical doctor by profession, he is called as a missionary to England and Europe. He is a Newham Borough Dean; a leader-trustee of the Newham network of Churches called Transform Newham, member of the steering Group for Evangelical Alliance Hope for London Leaders, member of the Churches Together in EnglandGroup for Evangelization and was part of the Leadership team for Soul in the City London.

 

Jonathan Oloyede is the key catalyst for London’s Global Day of Prayer, which brought together 25,000 UK christians from varied denominations, tribes and cultures at West Ham stadium on 27 May 2007.  He is blissfully married to Abbiih and has two lovely children.

 

Hugh Osgood

Hugh is the President and Chair of Council of Churches in Communities International and Senior Minister of Cornerstone Christian Centre in Bromley, Kent.  With forty years experience in ministry Hugh preaches extensively in Africa and Asia and has an active interest in Christian media.  He also oversees various social action projects in the UK and abroad.  Hugh is married with 3 children and 9 grandchildren and contributes on legal and governance matters for the Board.


Constantia Pennie

"Pennie" is Chair of the Children and Youth Commission (CandY) and works for a small HIV/AIDS charity as Immigration and Social Care Advisor. She is mother to 2 girls and was the Assistant Director of Children and Families for a London Borough. Pennie believes in living her faith out in the wider community and sits as a Trustee or Board member for several organisations such as the Race Foundation. She is actively involved at Walworth Methodist Church in South London and she contributes to the Strategic Planning side for the Board.

Nezlin Sterling

Nezlin is the General Secretary of the New Testament Assembly (NTA), one of the presidents of Churches Together for Britain and Ireland and is an Ecumenical member of the Church of England General Synod. She is an accredited lecturer at the University of Wales Lampeter, is founder of the NTA Christian Counselling Course. Her area of contribution on the ACEA Board is HR Management.
