  Who We Are

The African and Caribbean Evangelical Alliance (ACEA) is a registered charity and a national umbrella organisation for Black Majority Churches in the UK. We were established in 1984 and our aim is to aid in the advancement, growth, development and transformation of Christian faith in Britain. We do this by being a source of support to churches, organisations and individuals, a representative of their views and by providing a voice for Black Christians in the media and to statutory agencies such as the Home office and Charity Commission. We encourage churches and Black Christians to network on the issues which concern us all, an approach, which we pray, promotes unity, understanding and reconciliation among us. As a membership based organisation we also provide training, resources, advice and guidance to our churches and Black Christians on diverse issues.

Registered Charity Number: 802887
